I met up with Jamie, Brad and their 2 (soon to be 3) beautiful children for an afternoon at the park. We went down to Beech Grove and took advantage of the sunshine and green grass. It was a great, 'kick your shoes off and run barefoot' kind of day!
Stacey Butterfield is a wedding and event make-up artist located right here in Greenfield, IN. In order to network a little with other wedding vendors, I invited her over for an evening of "tea and a makeover." My model-should-be sister-in-law and good friend, Hanna, also joined us to model Stacey's talent. Gorgeous!
The hardest part about shooting engagement pictures for Christy and Jordan was picking which pictures to use! We met at the Indianapolis Museum of Art downtown and took advantage of the fantastic gardens and architecture there. Fortunately the weather cooperated for us and there wasn't a rain cloud in the sky! For anyone looking for a fabulous garden setting, I highly recommend IMA. But be prepared- this is a photographer's paradise and there were several times we had to wait out of the way while another photo session took place. All in all, it was a great shoot with a great couple- tons of fun, as the pictures will show.
We have always had a passion for photography. We began our first job in the photo industry by working for a travel magazine in eastern Africa. Although we now work mainly with weddings and portraits, our photography roots are in photojournalism.
Besides photography, we also greatly enjoy traveling and experiencing cultures different from our own. Wedding photography has given us an avenue to enjoy both of our passions– we have shot destination weddings in over 20 different countries.
We believe the key to a memorable wedding day is personalization. It’s your day, show it off! Whether you’re having a quiet garden wedding or a platinum ball, your wedding is a reflection of who you are. Our goal with every wedding we shoot, big or small, is to help you achieve memories that truly capture who you are.
